Tour Bus Rollover on New York Highway Claims Multiple Lives

A devastating accident occurred on Interstate 90, part of the New York Thruway, in Pembroke, New York, about 30 miles east of Buffalo. A tour bus carrying around 50 people rolled over, resulting in multiple fatalities and dozens of injuries.

At least one child was among those killed, and most passengers were of Asian descent, including Chinese, Indians, and Filipinos.

The driver lost control of the bus while traveling at full speed, causing it to flip when he tried to correct course.

Authorities closed the highway in both directions, leading to massive traffic delays.

The driver, who survived the accident, is cooperating with investigators, and police are in contact with the bus company.
